Sail4th 250 is a not-for-profit initiative and event series commemorating the 250th anniversary (semi-quincentennial) of the United States’ independence.
It continues the tradition of former “tall-ship/parade-of-ships” events previously organized by Operation Sail (which ran similar events in 1964, 1976, 1986, 1992, 2000, 2012).
The goal: a global gathering of tall ships, naval vessels, and maritime heritage — bringing together vessels from many nations, celebrating maritime history, cultural exchange, and the 250th anniversary milestone.
